After Slovenia and Serbia, ENNA Transport will begin operations in Hungary in the new year, 2026.

Zagreb, January 12, 2026 - The company will focus on container transport, with the main route covering the Hungarian section of the Rijeka–Budapest corridor, while planning to expand operations into regions where the ENNA Group is already present. On the Hungarian market, the most modern Vectron and Traxx locomotives will be used, and the fleet of wagons will be continuously expanded and modernized.

ENNA Transport HU Kft. was established in February 2025. Following the issuance of its operating license in August 2025 and obtaining the Single Safety Certificate (SSC) on January 12, 2026, ENNA Transport HU Kft. is fully ready to start operations.

The Single Safety Certificate, issued by the Railway Regulation Department of the Ministry of Construction and Transport as part of Hungary’s National Safety Authority (NSA), is the first such certificate issued in 2026. The certificate carries the code HU1020260001, making ENNA Transport HU Kft. the first railway operator in Europe to obtain this certificate in 2026. The SSC confirms that a strong Safety Management System is in place, capable of ensuring safe and reliable operations as a railway carrier.

With the launch of ENNA Transport HU Kft. in Hungary, which, in addition to Croatia, also operates in Slovenia and Serbia, the ENNA Group continues to implement its regional development strategy.
