Long-time member of the board of Energia naturalis d.o.o. Sabina Škrtić is leaving her position

Zagreb, April 26, 2024 - Long-time member of the board of Energia Naturalis d.o.o. (ENNA) in charge of corporate relations and business support Sabina Škrtić is leaving her position and plans to dedicate her further career to academic and business development, while continuing her collaboration with Mr. Vujnovec in the field of international relations.

Before her career at ENNA, Sabina Škrtić held various managerial positions in the private and public sectors for almost twenty years, and since 2017 she has actively participated in the creation of one of the largest business systems in Croatia. During that period, ENNA has initiated significant investments and carried out intense business diversification, with the development of new business segments and strengthening of the logistics, transport, renewable energy, and food divisions.

Commenting on her departure from the Management Board, Škrtić emphasized that she is grateful for the opportunities provided and that she is proud of all the work accomplished in the past seven years.

– I have witnessed, and hopefully contributed to, the significant business growth of ENNA in recent years. and the creation of a company that is fully focused on the green agenda and sustainable development. Now is the time for new business challenges, and I continue to carry with me an indelible sense of pride and gratitude towards everyone I have had the honor of working with – highlighted Sabina Škrtić.

The President of the Board of ENNA, Boštjan Napast, thanked Sabina Škrtić for her years of dedication and commitment to the company's development and wished her much success in her new professional challenges, while owner Pavao Vujnovac highlighted that she was part of the team that developed the innovative business platform which enabled the creation of new business divisions and the initiation of a major investment cycle.

– Sabina Škrtić was extremely important in shaping the path that ENNA is on today. She embedded her expertise and dedication into the growth the company has achieved in recent years, which has always been recognized by our employees and partners. The company recently completed its first strategic cycle and is now intensively continuing the development of projects in renewable energy sources, distribution, and food production, particularly in logistics, with the Rijeka Gateway project standing out, valued at 480 million euros, added Vujnovac.

Alongside the Rijeka Gateway being developed with Maersk, ENNA continues to implement other projects worth over a billion euros, as well as developing new corporate structures and preparing for the first public offering of shares on the capital market (IPO).
