Zagreb, 4 September 2025 – Energia Naturalis (ENNA) among the most desirable employers in Croatia’s energy sector, according to the ‘Employer of Choice’ survey.
The survey was conducted throughout 2024 with a sample of over 34,000 respondents. ENNA ranked fourth among the most desirable employers in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector.
The results reflect employees’ preferences and expectations, showing which companies respondents would most like to continue their careers with if they could choose freely. It is important to note that respondents were not provided with company names in advance; the survey was based entirely on their perception of employers and their free choice. The purpose of the survey was to identify which employers in the Croatian labour market are most attractive to the general public and to highlight those that have made the most progress.
Participants identified three key factors that define an ideal employer. The majority (70.8%) cited job security as the most important, followed by work-life balance (45%) and opportunities for professional growth (36.8%).
Other important factors mentioned included the company’s reputation, quality of colleague relationships, and fairness of management. Respondents also highlighted the benefits they value most, such as coverage of travel expenses, performance bonuses, flexible working hours, opportunities for additional training, and paid supplementary healthcare services.
Alongside ENNA, the top employers in the energy sector included HEP, PPD, and HOPS, which occupied the first three positions. Other companies in the top 10 were Termoplin, LNG Hrvatska, Gradska Plinara Zagreb, ENERGO, Energija Projekt, and E.ON Energija.
The survey was conducted via the MojPosao portal by Alma Career Croatia, a company specialising in connecting employers and job seekers.
