Date publishedApril 15, 2026Novska, April 14, 2026 – Representatives of ENNA Transport took part in the Novska Primary School project titled “I Know What I Want and Where I’m Going,” launched by teacher Šimun Klarić. The aim of this valuable initiative is to help eighth-grade students make informed decisions about enrolling in secondary school. The project connects students with entrepreneurs and institutions, enabling them to explore different professions and labor market needs through hands-on experience. In this way, it seeks to reduce uncertainty when choosing a secondary school and encourage students to make decisions aligned with their interests and abilities.
Based on previous experience, a large number of final-year primary school students do not have clearly defined plans for continuing their education. This project aims to address that issue through a structured and practical approach to career guidance.
As part of the project, instructor Antonio Medved and locomotive driver Zdravko Pavić from Novska introduced students to the profession of a train driver. They were welcomed at the Novska railway station by an ENNA Transport train, where the representatives presented this dynamic profession in an engaging and accessible way. They explained what a typical workday looks like, the qualifications required for the job, the difference between freight and passenger transport, as well as the advantages and challenges of the profession. After the introductory presentation, students had the opportunity to tour the inside of the locomotive and ask questions to our colleagues, gaining first-hand insight into this responsible yet exciting career.
We would like to thank teacher Klarić and Primary school Novska for the opportunity to participate in this project. We hope that we helped students in making decisions about their future and continuing their education.
