Rijeka, April 17, 2026 - Petar Glavaš, Member of the Management Board of ENNA Transport and ENNA Logic, participated in the international Transport&Logistics conference, held on April 16 and 17 in Opatija. The conference was organized by the Polytechnic of Rijeka and the Croatian Scientific Society for Transport (HZDP) under the auspices of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, and brought together more than one hundred experts in the fields of logistics and transport.

As part of the conference, Petar Glavaš took part in a panel discussion with Denis Vukorepa, Director of the Port of Rijeka Authority, Inigo Nunez Mendibe, Director of the AGCT container terminal at Brajdica, and Zrinka Hauser, Logistics Director at JGL.

“Logistics has been going through a challenging period for years – from the Covid crisis and the war in Ukraine to the current geopolitical situation. All of this directly affects cargo flows, transportation costs, and the stability of supply chains. An additional challenge is the condition of the railway infrastructure and frequent construction works, i.e. railway line closures, which significantly impact service quality, transport prices, and customer satisfaction. Major infrastructure projects lie ahead of us, such as the lowland railway line, the Hrvatski Leskovac–Karlovac and Dugo Selo–Novska sections, as well as numerous temporary railway closures that will require further adaptation from all market participants,” Glavaš emphasized.

The panelists addressed a number of current topics and challenges faced by the logistics sector today, with special emphasis on the importance of constructing the lowland railway line, particularly along the Rijeka transport corridor.
