Digital Transformation
Date publishedMay 28, 2026Zagreb, 27 May 2026 – ENNA Group and consulting company Span Evolve presented their collaboration on the implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system in Zagreb.
An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system is a business management platform companies use to manage key business processes in one place, including accounting and finance, sales, procurement, inventory management and more, enabling fully digitalised and automated operations.
The implementation of the new ERP system within ENNA Group began in mid-2025 and includes support for Fiscalisation 2.0. The system was implemented on 1 January 2026 in ENNA companies in Croatia and is gradually being introduced in other countries where ENNA operates, with the potential for further expansion of the collaboration.
Anton Barbir, Member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer of ENNA Group, shared insights into the implementation of the new ERP system and emphasised that, for a large and complex business system such as ENNA – comprising more than 30 companies and around 400 employees – improving business processes is of critical importance.
“We operate in highly volatile industries across both of our business segments – energy and logistics – and we need tools that enable us to monitor our operations quickly and respond with sufficient agility. The two most important prerequisites for a successful ERP implementation are process standardisation and master data management. These are the lifeblood of our company and operations, and the better they function, the more successful we are,” Barbir emphasised.
“By implementing a modern ERP system with Span Evolve, we have made an important step forward in standardising and connecting business processes, improving operational visibility and managing the complexity of ENNA Group more efficiently. In Span Evolve, we recognised not only a system implementation partner, but also an adviser who understands our business context, the complexity of our ecosystem and our ambitions for future growth,” Barbir added.
Krešimir Mlinarić, Director of Span Evolve, said the project had been completed in record time and thanked ENNA Group for its trust and support throughout the implementation process.
“Span Evolve was created in response to a very specific market need in a time of increasingly rapid and intensive change. While ERP implementation once focused primarily on digitally recording business processes, today it requires addressing a much broader context. We believe that Span Evolve, in synergy with the wider Span Group, can offer organisations across the region a rare combination of business understanding, ERP expertise, technological breadth and security capabilities. That is why it was especially important for us to present Span Evolve alongside ENNA Group, as this collaboration serves as both an example and validation of everything we stand for,” said Mlinarić.
Following the presentation of the ERP system implementation collaboration, two additional presentations were held. Marin Cerjan, Member of the Management Board of ENNA Next, presented the energy services offered by ENNA Next, with particular emphasis on battery storage systems that enable greater energy self-sufficiency, cost optimisation and additional revenue streams through flexibility and ancillary grid services. He emphasised that ENNA Next offers its clients a comprehensive energy solution.
The concluding presentation was delivered by Josip Penavić, Business Development Director at Span Evolve, who highlighted that an increasing number of companies are facing the so-called “digital Frankenstein” challenge, where applications are not interconnected. He noted that Span Evolve can provide solutions to improve and enhance process efficiency.
