Zagreb, May 27, 2026 – Ana Soldo, President of the Management Board of ENNA Logic and ENNA Transport, participated in the Forum on Energy, Infrastructure and Industrial Security of Central and Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans, held in Belgrade on Friday, May 22, 2026. The forum was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and Confindustria Serbia, the Serbian representative office of the Italian industry confederation.

The forum gathered more than 200 regional experts and institutional representatives. During three panel discussions, participants addressed key topics related to regional cooperation and knowledge exchange aimed at accelerating the energy transition, developing sustainable infrastructure, and improving industrial resilience.

Ana Soldo took part in a panel discussion on logistics titled “Infrastructure Corridors, Logistics, Digital Infrastructure and Cyber Resilience.” Alongside Soldo, the discussion featured Gaetano Massara from the European Investment Bank, Matej Zakonjšek, Director of Transport Community, Dejan Košutić, President of the Management Board of Railways of North Macedonia, Dušan Masončić, President of the Management Board of Port of Bar, Carmine Facchini from OICE, Petar Spasić, Delegate of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Matić, Vice President of ACES, and Miljan Ilić, Director of the Roads Department at the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Serbia.

“By increasing capacity through the Rijeka Gateway project, Croatia has further strengthened its position as a key logistics hub. However, regional success is threatened by unreliable rail infrastructure and fragmented digital systems. The key bottleneck is the Rijeka–Zagreb–Belgrade corridor,” emphasized Ana Soldo.

In addition to stressing the importance of reliable and high-quality infrastructure, Soldo also addressed the challenges of digitalization and the investments necessary for the advancement of the entire logistics sector.

“Due to outdated infrastructure and the lack of modern systems (ERTMS), transit times are increasing year after year instead of decreasing. An additional problem is digital fragmentation. Customs and port systems do not communicate across borders, which directly undermines competitiveness. Today, logistics critically depends on digitalization and cyber resilience. Without predictive systems and a shared digital customs framework, we are losing competitiveness. The most urgent priorities are investments in a double-track electrified railway from Rijeka to Zagreb to Belgrade, a unified digital customs system for the Western Balkans, and new inland intermodal terminals. Croatian ports have progressed, but without modern rail infrastructure and a digital backbone, they cannot reach their full potential,” stated the President of the Management Board of ENNA Logic and ENNA Transport.
