Petar Glavaš New President of HGK Railway Transport Association

Zagreb, 10 September 2026 - Petar Glavaš, Management Board Member of ENNA Transport and ENNA Logic, has been appointed the new President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy’s Association of Railway Transport.
The Association brings together various entities operating in transport and storage, with the aim of advancing rail transport.
Glavaš was elected President at the Association’s election session. As he announced, during the new four-year term, the Association will continue to promote rail transport and strengthen cooperation with public authorities, with a particular focus on encouraging investment in railway infrastructure and transport capacity.
“The goal is to develop sustainable, reliable and competitive rail transport, while further advancing intermodal transport and logistics and improving the quality of services for users,” Glavaš said. He added that the Association would continue to work towards strengthening the position of railways as the backbone of integrated and intermodal transport in Croatia.
Darko Barišić, Management Board Member of HŽ Infrastructure, was elected Deputy President of the Association. The Association’s comprehensive work plan for the new four-year period will be defined at the first meeting of the new Presidency.
