Ana Soldo Joins Industry Leaders at the Moving Adria Logistics Conference

Digital Transformation in Logistics

Date publishedOctober 1, 2026

Zagreb, 1 October 2026 – Ana Soldo, President of the Management Board of ENNA Logic and ENNA Transport, participated in the Moving Adria conference, organised by Business Media Croatia and the Slovenian magazine Finance. The two-day conference, held in Opatija on 23 and 24 September, brought together leaders of North Adriatic ports, regional railway systems, logistics companies and decision-makers from government ministries.

Ana Soldo took part in the panel discussion “How Logistics Centres Can Drive Industrial Growth and New Cargo Flows”, alongside Paolo Privileggio, President and CEO of Interporto di Trieste SpA, Nika Antolič, Project Manager at F. A. Maik, and Tomislav Štos, Supply Chain Director at Studenac.

The discussion focused on how logistics can support industrial growth and how automation, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity are reshaping the future of supply chains.

As Ana Soldo highlighted, automation in Croatia is still advancing at a slower pace, due in part to the size of the market, fragmented cargo flows and limited access to capital. She added that companies that have already made significant investments in automation are seeing positive results, particularly amid an increasingly pronounced labour shortage.

“Thanks to the new warehouses developed in Croatia in recent years, we have established ourselves as an important logistics destination in the region and have attracted cargo flows that previously bypassed us,” said Soldo during the panel, specifically highlighting the Rijeka Gateway project.

The importance of investing in railway infrastructure was also emphasised during the conference. Saša Amanović of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure noted that ten projects worth a total of €6 billion are currently under way or in preparation. Four of these projects relate to the lowland railway line between Zagreb and Rijeka and are collectively valued at €2.7 billion.
