Stjepan Čerkez Joins ENNA Group as Director of Strategic Projects
A Strong Focus on Investments

Zagreb, 11 June 2026 - We are pleased to welcome Stjepan Čerkez, an experienced energy project professional, to the ENNA team in the role of Director of Strategic Projects.
His experience further strengthens our team at a time when ENNA Group is continuing a strong investment cycle in renewable electricity generation projects.

We are interested in collaborating with developers on projects at an advanced stage of development or fully ready for construction. At the same time, we are also interested in developing projects in Croatia, particularly at a time when conditions are being created that should give strong momentum to domestic renewable energy projects,” said Stjepan Čerkez.
In 2025, ENNA began construction of a solar power plant with a battery storage system in Romania, with an installed capacity of 87.5 MWp, alongside a 70 MW battery system with a storage capacity of 140 MWh. This represents an investment worth EUR 70 million, the Group’s largest international investment to date.
In Croatia, during 2025 we completed investments in three solar power plants with a total capacity of 24.9 MWp. In addition, through customer projects and the ESCO model, a further 20 MWp was installed, resulting in an estimated reduction of 6,400 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
At the same time, ENNA is also developing geothermal power plant projects in the areas of Slatina and Babina Greda, in which approximately EUR 50 million has been invested to date. Current results confirm strong geothermal potential, while the total CAPEX for both investments is estimated at more than EUR 280 million.
