PBZ arranged the mini-bond issuance
Date publishedSeptember 23, 2026Zagreb, 23 September 2026 – Privredna banka Zagreb (PBZ), part of Intesa Sanpaolo's International Banks Division, has arranged its 23rd minibond issuance. Acting as agent and sponsor of the €10 million issuance, PBZ supported ENNA Group in financing its growth and development plans through this financial instrument.
ENNA Group is one of Croatia's leading investors and among the country's fastest-growing companies, operating in renewable energy and logistics and employing more than 400 people. The bond was issued with a seven-year maturity, semi-annual interest payments and a two-year grace period for principal repayment.
The total value of minibond issuances arranged by PBZ to date in the Croatian and Slovenian markets has reached €141 million.
Representatives of ENNA Group and PBZ met to mark the bond issuance. ENNA Group was represented by Boštjan Napast, President of the Management Board, Anton Barbir, Member of the Management Board, and Ana Zobec, Head of Finance, while PBZ was represented by Dinko Lucić, President of the Management Board, and Paolo Musso, Member of the Management Board, together with colleagues from Corporate banking and the Capital Markets Team.
Boštjan Napast, President of the Management Board of ENNA Group, stated: "This is a strategically important step forward and a natural continuation of our development of sustainable energy solutions. The energy transition and the decarbonisation of transport are creating a growing need for a reliable, accessible, and efficient charging network, and we see ENNA Charge as an important contribution to the development of such infrastructure in Croatia. Projects of this kind require a long-term vision, stable financing and partners who understand their broader developmental significance. That is why it is important for us to have a partner such as PBZ, which recognises the potential of investments in sustainable infrastructure and supports us in projects that contribute to the energy transition and the modernisation of transport. Our goal is to gradually expand the charging network along key transport corridors and in urban locations, particularly where we can provide additional value to users. We believe that the development of high-quality and widely available infrastructure will be one of the key prerequisites for greater consumer confidence and stronger growth of the electric vehicle market in Croatia."
Dinko Lucić, President of the Management Board of PBZ, said: "PBZ was the first bank to offer minibonds to its clients as part of Intesa Sanpaolo's International Banks Division Minibond Initiative. Interest in this financial instrument remains strong, while its increasingly widespread use among market participants in Croatia further confirms its relevance and potential. We remain committed to supporting high-quality companies with clearly defined development strategies in their access to capital markets, viewing minibonds as an important first step towards diversifying funding sources and making greater use of market-based financing for growth and development. We are particularly pleased that the funds raised through ENNA Group's minibond issuance will be used to expand the network of ultra-fast electric vehicle chargers, thereby contributing to the development of a more sustainable transport infrastructure in Croatia. In addition to Croatia and Slovenia, the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, through its international banking network, offers the same financing model in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Serbia, and it will soon become available to clients in other countries where the Group operates."
