First deliveries planned in 2027
Date publishedJune 10, 2026Zagreb, 10 June 2026 – ENNA Logic, the logistics company of the ENNA Group, has ordered five Vectron multi-system locomotives from Siemens Mobility, together with a comprehensive maintenance contract lasting up to 30 years. The first deliveries are scheduled for spring 2027, with maintenance services commencing in the same year.
Vectron locomotives will be certified for operation in 11 European countries: Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia, Serbia, Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Bulgaria. This makes them ideally suited to international freight transport and ENNA Logic’s logistics operations along key European transport corridors.
The Vectron platform locomotives are manufactured at Siemens Mobility’s locomotive plant in Munich and belong to one of Europe’s most successful locomotive families, known for high reliability, flexibility and efficiency throughout their entire lifecycle.
„This investment marks an important step in ENNA Logic’s long-term growth and confirms our commitment to further strengthening international rail freight services for customers across the region. It reflects our confidence in proven, high-performance technology and in a long-term maintenance partnership that will enhance reliability, operational efficiency and competitiveness”, said Ana Soldo, CEO of ENNA Logic.
„Vectron as a modular multi-system platform, with support for three voltage levels, enables efficient cross-border transport without the need to change locomotives at borders. This significantly reduces operational downtime and increases the efficiency of transport processes. In addition, the integrated multi-year service model additionally provides the user with predictability of maintenance costs and a high level of technical reliability throughout the entire life cycle. We are convinced that this is a significant technological step forward in the further strengthening of rail freight transport in the region and that this project with ENNA Logic will open up space for new joint projects in the future. We look forward to further cooperation on the implementation of these solutions and their long-term application.“, concluded dr. sc. Krešimir Nevistić, Head of Siemens Mobility Croatia
To date, Siemens Mobility has sold nearly 3,000 Vectron locomotives to more than 115 customers, with some variants reaching maximum speeds of up to 230 km/h. These vehicles are approved for operation in 20 countries, and Vectron locomotives have so far covered more than 1.4 billion kilometres in service.
